Integration with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

In many areas the Oracle technology products already have been deeply integrated within the EnterpriseOne architecture. Engineering work continues to deepen these integrations. Here are some examples of how the EnterpriseOne architecture has adopted Oracle technology:

  • Oracle Database is fully supported on the UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms as a repository for EnterpriseOne system and business data.
  • Oracle Application Server is fully supported on the UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms to fulfill the web application server prerequisites for the HTML server, development client, mobile solution, and other components requiring a web application server.
  • Oracle Portal is fully supported for deploying EnterpriseOne application portlets. Custom portlets written using the EnterpriseOne development tools can also be deployed in Oracle Portal.
  • Oracle Single Sign-On is integrated with EnterpriseOne to allow users to sign on to the Oracle Portal and have their authentication passed automatically to EnterpriseOne applications.
  • Oracle BPEL Process Manager can consume and orchestrate web services that have been exposed using the EnterpriseOne Web Services Gateway.

Other components delivered with Oracle Technology Foundation, although not yet deeply integrated with EnterpriseOne, will provide you with a robust suite of technology to extend the value of your EnterpriseOne implementation..
